I've been chasing the same dream ever since I walked into Gravity and saw DJ Menis play some 95 style hardcore. He's such a talented DJ that it was impossible for anyone to walk out of the club that morning and not want to do the same thing one day. Its crazy to think I've had the same goal for 25 years and it actually feels like it's only just starting.

Menis is my neighbour. Just wanted to gloat about that. Still goes bananas in his studio keeping my kids awake at night.

DJ Menis old skool bizness is still one of my all time fave mixes. Old Skool Biz Vol 2 really changed my taste in beats — I have since collected most of the tunes on vinyl. Suburban Bass, Mike Slammer, Red Alert!! Love the intro. It will always be legendary in my opinion.

Epic set from The One, The Only DJ Menis. Chris you never disappoint — such energy, talent and wisdom on the decks. Thanks for all the magic Gravity memories. Musik is always guaranteed to get me on my feet.

Just finished a round trip from Mandurah to Perth and back, listened to the mix twice in a row. Could not stop smiling the whole journey. Scalp tingling, body muscle memory rushes — that is as close as you could get to time traveling back in time. Superb.

Legend of the scene!!! Maybe not the godfather, but most certainly the god son.

Absolute don behind the decks. His sets were often the highlight of the night — not just the ballsy mixing but the selection was always on point. So much respect for this guy.
